Mt. Calvary will join dozens of churches across Kansas and tens of thousands of youth across the country and beyond at the 2025 LCMS Youth Gathering in New Orleans. The youth gathering is beneficial for our students as it demonstrates:
- Evidence of the Big Body of Christ, the great Cloud of Witnesses that mutually build up our faith.
- See and experience District and Synod commitment to youth.
- Hear our faith, our confession, shared by thousands of peers at one time in one place.
As tourists we will go on a swamp tour to see some gators in the wild. The Kansas District has also planned a trip to the Bayou Barn for Cajun food and outdoor games.
On July 19th the Gathering begins in full force. The theme for the 2025 LCMS Youth Gathering is “ENDURE” and is centered around Hebrews 12:1–3. “Endure” promises that our youth along with 20-30 thousand others across the country will Hear the Word of God, Learn about how to put the word into action in our own lives through breakout learning opportunities, Proclaim God’s love in our own lives through singing and interactive celebration at mass events and finally, Celebrate the Sacrament alongside the large visible Body of Christ in Divine Worship.
The registration cost for the week is $400 and will require all registered participants to assist in fundraising.
Busses leave Kansas on July 17th and return on July 24th.
Register below by Oct 29th.
