Children’s Education Hour
Sunday mornings from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM
Any Sunday morning at Mt. Calvary will find children, ages pre-school to 5th grade, joining in songs of praise, playing a game to highlight an important bible point, or interacting with our puppet characters: Bubba, Judy and Gordy. Through witty dialogue, our puppets teach kids how they too can take their faith into the world and be a voice for Jesus. Sunday mornings are all about getting to know Jesus and His love for each of us. Crafts, snacks, bible videos and dramatizations are also used to engage children in learning the many wonderful true stories and people of the bible.
Mt Calvary also offers a fantastic Sunday morning program for children ages 0 to 4 years old and their attending parent(s). These little tikes get to know Jesus through short bible lessons, puppet skits, snacks and play. It is one of our best attended classes.
During morning opening, students have the opportunity to bring their “Thanks Offerings” to be used for a specific mission project. We have supported various missions including “Motorcycles for Pastors”, “Christian Books for Kids Worldwide”, “World Vision Music and Art”, and many more.
Guest are always welcome and we encourage our students to bring along their friends. No pre-arrangements are needed, just drop in and one of our many helpers will direct you to the proper room. We want everyone to form a relationship with Jesus and learn about His plan for our lives.
