Lutheran Women’s Missionary League
Serve the Lord with Gladness!
The mission of Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) is to develop and maintain a greater mission consciousness among the women of Mt. Calvary. We provide opportunities for spiritual growth and Christian fellowship among the women of the congregation, gather funds for mission grants, assist the church in its ministry to build the Kingdom of God, and foster and support the LWML program. Piecemakers Quilting Group
Mt Calvary’s quilt group invites you to join us as we share the love and joy of quilting. (We cut up perfectly good fabric and sew it together in new and creative ways.) Experienced quilters and beginners, all ages are welcome! Meetings are Block of the Month on the 1st Tuesday at 6:30 pm, Jr. Piecemakers on the 4th Monday at 6:30 pm, and Sew Day on the 3rd Friday at 9:00 am in room 7 lower level.
Fellowship:
Join fellow members for social events throughout the year. We provide and support opportunities to GROW our congregation through fellowship. Past opportunities have included – Christmas Caroling, Dinner for Eight, Ice Skating, Progressive Dinners, and Annual Picnic. The board welcomes those who have a gift or interest in serving others.
